In 2019, Dr. Kareem Moncree-Moffett, established Youth Lead Alliance. Dr. Moncree-Moffett firmly believes in the potential and abilities of young people, which motivated the creation of this collaborative-Youth Lead Alliance.
At its core, Youth Lead Alliance recognizes the importance of fostering collaborative and inclusive environments where young people can connect with their peers, share experiences and gain exposure to organizations and professionals that they may not normally meet. By breaking down traditional silos that often isolate youth, Youth Lead Alliance creates collaborative spaces for meaningful dialogue, mentorship, and peer-to-peer networking.
Moreover, Youth Lead Alliance serves as a vital bridge between young people and organizations or professionals dedicated to supporting their development. Recognizing that young people often face barriers in accessing resources, Youth Lead Alliance diligently works to connect young people and organizations and professionals that can help them with opportunities, such as scholarships, life skills, mentorships, and future guidance. This intentional collaboration ensures that young people have exposure to the tools and guidance they need to make different choices and reach their full potential.
